Fickle & fraudulent. Technically MA student, claiming interests in politics, history, film, literature....but more often in chocolate, tv, intarwebs and bed

I've been a sporadic blogger for the last 8 or so years, and have left a trail of discarded journals and domains in my wake, each taken up with an enthusiasm that quickly proved not to be anything like boundless. After a quick and dirty fling - during which I wring from them every possible whimper of satisfaction - I simply stop calling, avoid their gaze on the street, and take up with some other floozy blog right in front of them. So there, now you know what you're in for. I've warned you, but you'll still believe you can change me. You probably can't, but isn't it fun to try? ;)

Name: Lizzie /&hearts/ Age: 23 /&hearts/ Nationality: English /&hearts/Shoe size: 6-7.
Idols: Myrna Loy, Katharine Hepburn, C.J. Cregg, Anne Shirley, Harriet Vane, Elizabeth Bennet (yes, I know the last four are fictional, but people are less flawed on paper), Madeline Albright.
Crushes: Cary Grant (specifically as C. K. Dexter Haven), William Powell (as Nick Charles), Prince Albert, Ioan Gruffidd, David Tennant, John Hannah, Anton Walbrook, Conrad Veidt, Mr Darcy, Sir Percy Blakeney, Gilbert Blythe, (see above for superiority of fictional folk), Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart.
Dreams: I'd love to get a job as a curator of one of York's many delicious museums, while looking absolutely stunning in vintage inspired suits complete with Hermes scarfs, Luboutin shoes, and Berkin bags. After a day of doing undefined historical stuff I'd come home to my Georgan townhouse where my fiance (looks like Ioan, sounds like Tennant is ♥ Conrad Veidt ♥) meets me with a dry martini (shaken to waltz time of course), a Domino's pizza and a somewhat indecent proposal.
Musical Influences: Anything recorded between 1930- 1969, specifically Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Fred and Ginger, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Dusty Springfield, Joan Baez and Bob Dylan. Plus alot of modern stuff; Relient K, Newsboys, and generic top-40.
Favourite films: A Matter of Life and Death (Best. Film. Ever!), The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, The Young Victoria, I Know Where I'm Going!, Blithe Spirit, The Italian Job, PoTC, The Princess Bride, The Philidelphia Story, De-Lovely, A Hard Day's Night, Dial "M" For Murder, Some Like it Hot, Casablanca, Legally Blonde, The Thin Man, Woman of the Year, the Sound of Music ...and anything with Cary Grant, Muppets', Katharine Hepburn, Claude Raines, Marilyn Monroe, Leslie Howard, David Niven, William Powell and/or Myrna Loy.
Defining Posts: Advanced puddle jumping, lesson 1.a /♥/ 25-ish things

♥ ♥ ♥ Gaslight, 1940
